Curious if anyone else is experiencing a less stable machine after installing the 4th axis/rotary on their elite (masso) machine. My machine just seems more glitchy now and the glitches are really random with different issues. For example, my screen will sometimes randomly freeze. Or it won’t turn on the screen and just blink faintly. Today my motor alarms were on high again and I had to invert them again. But I turned on my machine as recently as yesterday and it was fine. Sometimes I’ll home the machine and get a motor A error, which if I reboot will disappear.

I want to write CS, but the issues are really random and not really repeatable. Hard to say “my issue is xxx when yyy” when the issue is different every time. So I’m curious if anyone else is having random issues, and if so, did you get rid of them?

Did change the homing positions as per the manual when switching to rotary and back?
Because I forgot once and the motor alarms went off because it didn’t know its correct postion.
I have them on separate sheet so I don’t forget.

If you are on firmware 5.09, it’s bugged, go back to 5.07

Always a good idea to reset config when things aren’t quite right:

I am on masso version 5.07.

Looking like it’s probably just me. Now the Masso screen won’t come on, even if I unplug everything on the rotary.
