With the release of the Buildbotics rotary (4th axis) , that will be released in Jan. of 2025 will there also be a controller software update at the same time?

Is it to early to let us know what version will support the rotary function for the BB?

Just ordered mine this morning. Along with a bunch of other stuff. I’ll be sleeping in the shed with my 1F for the foreseeable future. 😜
While I cozy up to my machine and get ready for all of my new toys to arrive, I might as well start ordering more accessories.
What is the outer diameter of the rotary chuck? I want to find someone on Etsy that makes chuck adapters for glass and tumblers so that I can start burning once the rotary gets here.

I would request for all of the units being sent to the USA hopefully can ship no later than January 20, 2025 so they would not possibly be subject to the 25% tariff or there may be many cancellations. Just a request.

My update this morning to the BB Controller, Version: v1.4.2 removes the pause icon, and now the stop icon will stop the g code, but it can’t be restarted, nor will the CNC move with the remote. So, the only option is to reboot. I definitely want the old version back, or will this be fixed soon with the update in January since I’ve order some of the new hardware releases.

It was an oversite. The icon for pause just disappeared (and will return in the next update), but the play button can still be pushed to pause.
