What is this machine and the type(s) attachment called? I know its industrial level CNC, but can an attachment like the one it has be found for home CNC’s? If not, Hey Onefinity!!!
Can the Onefinity get similar results with standard bits? Specialized bits?
It looks like a horizontal mill configuration, but acting more like a CNC router given the speed of travel and distance (looks specialized, at least in this example, to adding custom textures to prefinished hardwood lengths.
I have seen many people create these types of textures in wood using the Onefinity (or other CNC routers). It won’t be as fast, and if using longer boards there will be extra time and effort to set up tiling operations.
The cutters have a hole in the center that the arbor passes thru and is driven by a key.
You can stack several cutters together with spacers if needed to do all kinds of things.
The one in the OP is obviously revved up especially for wood.
