Cat5 or 6 or 7 or 8

I was not aware, I know we did our schools system but did not think about it in the home and shop. I will look at that tonight

Jadaol’s Cat 7 shielded ethernet cable is a high-quality piece of tech that can aptly get the job done, as per my experience as a network engineer. The product excels namely because of its superb speed, compatibility, and durability.

For what it’s worth… Unless my Onefinity controller is defective which I doubt, it connects at 100Mb/s not 1000Mb/s (1Gb/s) so any Cat5 or better cable will work for your connection. Before you question the cable run and patch cables - I can unplug the patch cable from my Onefinity and plug into my laptop and it negotiates 1Gb/s so it’s not the cabling or network switch. It’s unnecessary to spend additional $$ for Cat 6,7 etc.

I also monitor the utilization of the network switch ports on my network, throughout it’s history the connection to the Onefinity has not exceed 3Mb/s.
