CNC Water Pump Help

I have a CNC for cutting slate and every water pump i have tried has packed it in after a few months due to the water tank being filled with debris and small/medium slate chippings, I have recently installed a MGE AQ4 single phase pump but it takes about 15 minutes to get all the way through the machine and out the coolant jets.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this pump more effective or can recommend a different pump.

I’d start with a 1/8" mesh screen set at a 45 degree angle to trap and roll off the bigger chips into a bucket then a series sumps at different elevations to trap the heavier to lightest sediment. Rather complicated but it should help clean the water

the machine comes with a metal grate and mesh to try filter out anything but its not very good and as the mirky water passes through it solidifies in the tank leaving a clay like mud in the bottom of the tank to be sucked up by the water pump.

I have tried to keep the tank clean but the best solution is to try find a pump that can handle that kind of enviroment.

Can you raise the pump above the bottom so its above the sediment on a piece of mesh?

That is what the new pump i linked was for but it doesnt seem to have as much power as a fully submergible one
