# Controller died

after ten months machine will not turn on. i checked an cleaned all connections. made sure electrc source was okay, and that panic buton was not on. could it really be dead already

Welcome to the community, Dann.

Since you did mention the eStop button, it’s entirely possible that this could be the issue. There are other posts regarding button failure.

Edit: I should also note that I experienced something like this recently wherein I thought the controller had died. It turned out that I was running too many things off the same circuit as the controller and it apparently wasn’t being supplied enough current to actually turn on.

If that’s not the case, I would definitely do as @349iq2345 suggested and contact Support.
