# Installing Stiffy on Elite Journeyman

When I ordered the Elite Journeyman, I also ordered a Stiffy rail. The Stiffy rail came pre-assembled and I am unsure of how to mount it.

The Installation video of the X-50 Stiffy shows that I need to take apart the pre-assembled one that I received. Is this true for the Elite Journeyman? Also, the middle carriage of the pre-assembled Stiffy appears to be upside down from the feet on the ends.

yes, you need to take it apart just like the installation video shows.  
How it’s sitting on your table, the center is upside down. Just rotate the center part 180 degrees.
