I just got my Elite and I need to store my X50 for a long time. I have the shipping boxes that it came in. I plan on putting it back in the shipping boxes but what type of oil should be used on the tubs? I am thinking about giving it to my son but it will be a while before he can get it.
3-in-1 oil is recommended
I’d spray it all down with a protectorant spray like T9 or Rustoleum. Just spray everything metal before putting the pieces back in the boxes. You can also get some drying crystals (like those packets you get electronics packed with) and throw a few in each box. Get the ones that do not turn into water as they soak up humidity.
