Hey Philip,

this is [this issue](https://forum.onefinitycnc.com/t/gcode-where-is-m6-tool-change/14739). Carbide Create creates g-code which instead of [M6 (tool change)](https://linuxcnc.org/docs/html/gcode/m-code.html#mcode:m6) commands contains [M0 (Pause)](https://linuxcnc.org/docs/html/gcode/m-code.html#mcode:m0-m1) commands everytime a tool is selected, followed by a comment that includes the tool number (that is ignored since it’s commented out). This is because with Carbide Create, the M6 command [is only implemented if you hand your g-code over](https://docs.carbide3d.com/software-faq/list-of-supported-gcodes/) to [Carbide Motion](https://carbide3d.com/carbidemotion/) software which exclusively runs on [Carbide CNC machines](https://carbide3d.com).

You can get rid of this by replacing every instance of

```auto
M0 ;Txxx
```

by

```auto
M6 Txxx
```

in your g-code file.

Note that if you use M6 commands (multiple tools in one g-code file), take a look to check if the settings in the ‘tool-change’ field of the [General Configuration Tab](https://buildbotics.com/manual-v1-0/#generaltab) of the Onefinity Controller suit your needs. Regarding what to insert there, I cited some information [here the other day](https://forum.onefinitycnc.com/t/like-many-new-forums-the-excitement-and/9209/14).
