I am new to this forum and have been looking at this machine and was notified about the new products coming out, I currently run a lead screw machine and looking to go to a ball screw set up. But here is my question, can the new z carriage be mounted on any other type of machine or is it specific to Onefinity?

The new Z axis is designed specifically for the Onefinity to be a bolt-on upgrade. It is not to be considered a “universal fit”. That said, it is completely up to your own abilities to design a retrofit to a different machine.
