Sadly, the Onefinity family experienced a tragedy over the Christmas holidays. In the early morning hours of December 23, one of our longtime employees and dear friends suffered a devastating house fire while he and his wife were sleeping. Fire crews arrived quickly and acted heroically, entering the burning home and locating both he and his wife. They were pulled from the fire unconscious and transported to a local trauma centre.
Tragically, due to the injuries she sustained, his wife passed away on Christmas Day. Our friend and coworker regained consciousness several days later and was informed of her passing.
The funeral will take place on Friday, January 9, and the entire Onefinity team will be attending to pay our respects and support our colleague and his family. As a result, Onefinity will be closed on Friday, January 9. Our phone lines will be closed and will reopen on Monday, January 12. You may still send emails during this time; however, responses may be delayed until staff return.
That is truly horrific. Unfortunately, stories like that are far too common. I love hearing the entire OneFinity team is banding together to support him and each other.
