Now that some of us have ordered the new Controller when should we expect to see a Online Manual, Machine Profiles for Software, Post Processor use? I know we are still a while out from receiving them but just figured it may be time to start the conversations.
Looks like they already got the post processor up, that was quick.
So this isn’t a big deal at all, but It appears as though one feature this doesn’t have compared to the Masso is the ability to turn your shop vac/dust processor on and off.. or at least the plug is not there but it could be something in the software?
I ordered the 220V spindle, so not sure how that combo would support turning the dust collector on if that’s running 120V. I’ve been using a remote switch on my JMan to start/stop the DC. Figured I’d keep doing that.
If you’re using the 120V setup you could use one of those combo switches that also keep the vac running for 30 seconds after turning off the machine power. However that means they share a circuit.
I thought on the Masso the spindle controls are separate from power. Either way it doesn’t make much of a difference to me, just something I noticed.
I’m currently running a 1.75 wall mount Grizzly with Hepa/Super Dust Deputy, but a low-noise shop vac is mighty tempting as is not having to have dust hose run across my garage shop when using the CNC.
I recently got a Stealthsonic for my miter station and it’s crazy how quiet it is, makes my Festool CT Midi I have seem like a screamer. I was considering getting another stealth dedicated to the new Redline CNC but am wondering about durability.
Any word on when we may get a manual online for the new redline controller. @Redlinecnc
I would like to know when we will be able to buy the controller without buying a new machine.
you ordered just the controller? how and where?
We hope to have this available by the end of the year.
