# Reversing Y axes on Onefinity X-35/X-50 (stepper motors to the front of the machine)

Brand new to this, I am totally lost. I mounted the Y rails backwards so the connectors were safer in the back of the machine. The assembly tutorial said that was ok. I assume because of that the machine wants to home to the back left and the controller acts opposite direction too. How do i get it to home to the front left?

You need to reverse the y 1 and y 2 in the software on the motors tab.

Note: This would work for Motor 0 (X axis) too, if you want to have the stepper motor to the left (and cable output on the right) on X axis.
