Upgrading worth it?

Since I have the Original Woodworker and want to use a QCW stand, is the Elite Gen 1 REDLINE Upgrade Kit (Buildbotics to Redline) | Closed Loop | IPP worth it? My main or immediate use I hope to learn is to cut thin sheets of aluminum 0.025" - 0.050" or 0.635 mm - 1.27 mm, 1/40" - 1/20" into custom sizes and shapes for pet memorials to be affixed to a wood plaque backer, down to 1" x1" sized shapes or smaller, and up to 10" x 13" large.
I also paid for the X50 upgrade, but I haven’t done so yet, if that is important… I’m not sure whether I should stay with the X35 for this task or upgrade to the X50 rail and then get the upgrade kit for the larger size.

I currenty own from 2021 (But STILL in the boxes due to not having the means to build a bench by myself and looking into the QCW options)

Original Onefinity Woodworker X-35
Onefinity 3-axis touch probe, Onefinity 7W laser (I have a laser now so probably won’t ever use it)
Onefinity Joystick
45 piece Oops clamp set and Oops clamp hand nut for 1/4-20 T-Track (4 Pack)
2 Pack Cable Extension (4 foot long)
Breakout Board Adapter
Upgrade to 10.8" Display
Onefinity Suckit Dust Boot Pro
A colt hand router to learn on with hopes of upgrading to a 220v 80mm water or air cooled spindle.
VCarve Pro (Upgraded to version 12.5 even though I have never built my CNC yet.)

I will assume from the lack of replies it is a bad idea I guess.

The Redline control system is a big upgrade to the discontinued BB controller.
Some of it’s features:

  • Speed and feed overrides during a cut
  • Spindle speed override
  • Remembering your last work position
  • power lose recovery
  • jump to line
  • gcode visualization
  • 2025 upgraded hardware
  • true 4th axis rotary
  • ATC support
  • much larger power supply
  • faster and more precise cutting
  • closed loop stepper motors
  • and much much more!
