# Will not home after installing drag chains with longer wires for Z and x

Hey Steve,

as Chris already suggested, you give very few info.

Did you buy [ready-to-use drag chain stepper cables for Onefinity](https://www.etsy.com/de-en/listing/978088944/onefinity-cnc-drag-chain-extended-wires?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=onefinity+cable&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1), or did you [make your own stepper cables](https://forum.onefinitycnc.com/t/z-axis-not-cutting-to-depth/14238/5#make-your-own-stepper-motor-cables-1), and if so, did you take care of [Onefinity Wiring diagram](https://forum.onefinitycnc.com/t/onefinity-wiring-diagram/14240), which shows that there has to be a **cable cross** in the stepper cable?
