I just bought the block. The cable from Onefinity works fine with it.

In the Etsy video, the probing sub-routine looks to use the opposite probe edges compared to the 1F. Are the offsets in X/Y the same or similar to the 1F supplied probe? I know the offsets are adjustable values using the controller, but just curious. Must be working if you’re using it. Great find!

They suggest you measure yours as it’s possible to have variation from one product to another

Just received the block. Did you have to adjust the offsets for probing because the plate is significantly larger?

I did. I would have had to anyway since the tolerances on the stock one are so bad. My Z is 15 mm. X and Y are both 65 mm. I guess yours could be a little different.

Hey Adam, when probing where you do start? I find that if i start on the circle its too far away from the edge.

When I use it, I typically probe the front left corner. I start with the tool around 10mm from the front left of the block and about 5 mm in front of the block. I’m not sure I answered your question though. If not, I don’t think I understand what you’re asking.

How did you adjust how far the probe goes to the right before dropping to probe x?

I didn’t adjust that. I haven’t looked to see if you can. I know you can manually do it via G38.2, described here: [G38.2 – Straight Probe Cycle](https://docs.masso.com.au/supported-g-codes/g38.2-straight-probe-cycle). I’ve only used this to zero z when configuring a 3D probe.

When I tried my 360 it retained the same offsets as my last probe so it drove the bit directly into the probe, not sure how to fix this issue.

</div>

The bit should hit the probe, but it should stop once it makes contact, assuming you have the magnet connected to the collet.

The offsets are set directly on the probing screen. It doesn’t define how far the tool moves though. It defines how much the machine will add/subtract from the position where the tool touches the block.

The offsets definitions are detailed here: [Probing](https://docs.masso.com.au/getting-started-guides/machining-with-masso/probing).

Is that what you’re looking for?

</div>

What I mean is that it comes down to probe “X” in the wrong spot so it ends up burying the bit into the top of the probe instead of moving over the appropriate amount to probe for X and Y.
