Retired electrical engineer, with an abundance of free time. Life is great! It was good before, but now every day is a holiday! So much to do, and still there is not enough time…..

A few years ago, I picked up a 3D printer (QIDI iFast), then a year later a laser engraver (Wecreat 20 watt), now a used Onefinity x35 all ready to go with a platform and waste board all ready to go. About as plug and play as it can get.
The X35 has been fantastic. Wiring it up was as foolproof as it can get. Within a few days, I was running my first 3D carvings with the help of Youtube videos, and have a number of 3D carvings to give to family members for Christmas. I have to laugh that the the BB controller is running a Raspberry Pi 3B. I have several of these left from my former job. Nice little computers!
Anyway, I love building things, and this new X35 will be a very instrumental piece of equipment to add to the arsenal.

I am using Fusion 360 free version to set up all the toolpaths.

And I am super impressed with the feedback I’m getting from Onefinity.
