A newbie as such , just looking and trying to fathom out which machine might be best for me . Started out less than 6 mthx ago with absolutely no idea what I wanted, why I was even contemplating a CNC . No woodwork experience … just a bit inquisitive. Bought a FoxAlien Mas3S … obviously didn’t read enough forums or stuff else I would have known about belts etc . Been a good starter , belts have all been upgraded , and I’m onto my second stepper change when the replacement gets to me.
Suppose the Elite series is at the top of my list But I don’t think my pockets are that deep . Then there’s shipping and the duties and taxes . The 1F must be decent machines as I can’t find a used in the UK …… and they MUST have sold at least one there
