Hi Folks, I am a retiree from the hightech world. Long ago I was an electrical engineer specializing in computer design. I still like to play around with small systems like the Rpi and Arduino. I have been trying to get into the maker community as a hobby, but don’t have the space for it at the moment. Hopefully that changes in a year or so, but I’ve been saying that for a couple years now. In the mean time, I’m a paper tiger learning through YouTube and playing around with Fusion360 and Carbide Create. I have a number of designs completed and simulated. I can’t wait to get a machine to turn them into reality. After looking around at various options, I’ve decided that OF is the machine I want. Until then, I will keep simulating, learning and hanging out in the forum.
