I notice in a lot of video most users are not using air assist when cutting. Which I think would help the mess factor. For the people switching from alum. to wood what if any different techniques are you using for chip clean up.
Vacuum and suckit dust boot for wood and Aluminium. By chance I have a loop in the 4inch vacuum hose that seems to catch some of the bigger pieces of chip but most seem to get back to the vacuum bag which is in a shed next door to the shed housing the CNC and connected by drainage pipe. A bit Heath Robinson, but no issues after 5 years of use milling wood, plastic, aluminium and brass.
What HP or CFM unit are you running
