Just purchased Elite Foreman, what prep can I do?

It’s a really good idea. So good, in fact, that I’m definitely going to be using it myself  . I happen to have loads of scrap 8020 from my work facility that I rescue out of the scrap metal recycling bin.

Well. Don’t just stand there; write a book! Or at least a blog. I, a twenty year veteran of the CNC invasion, need all the education I can get.

All custom, You buy the 2020 or 8020 Metal and cut then add plastic.

@mhackney Thank you so much for your inputs, greatly appreciate them as a newbie, it makes a lot of sense!! Greetings from Spain

Power, lighting, and table,… I recommend 2-3 120V duplex outlets and a 240V outlet in the immediate area of your CNC, if you do a standard setup with your CNC, placing them a few inches left of the left-rear of the table will put them closest to where all the power is needed.

For lighting, have a plan to illuminate your work area fairly well (you’ll want to see details in your work).

Finally the table, keep future upgrades/add-ons in mind when designing/building it. I wish I’d built mine 6 inches wider as I already have components hanging over the edge due to upgrades/add-ons.

Many have upgraded to a larger drag chain as the one provided by 1F is quite the joke once you add spindle coolant lines, laser cables and air, etc, etc…
