Looking for some fusion machine time help

I posted earlier this week about the fusion discount. Glad I shared and hope I helped a few people out.

now I am looking for some help. Up until this week I had always used the free version which doesn’t post process rapid movement commands. There was always a disclaimer comment at the top of my g code files that stated rapid moves were limited to the feed rate of the top path blah blah blah pay us money to cut down your machining time. No big deal. I knew what I wasn’t paying for.

ok. So now I have the paid version. Super excited that I will get those rapid moves now and my machine timing should be much closer to the simulation times in fusion. Sick

program up a project with some 2d adaptive tool paths for a sign I have been commissioned to make, post them to my computer, upload them to the BB controller, take advantage of to rapid moves! Big time no bob. Machine time on the BB is showing 4 times the machine time from fusion (11:XX in fusion, 45:XX on the controller).

What am I missing? So I need to change simulation setting in fusion to match the BB more closely? Is the BB the limitation? Or am I missing something in post that is preventing the rapid moves from being used?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Erik

I had to set the rapid rates of my machine in Fusion. Go to the machine library in Fusion and you’ll find these settings.

@MikeXYZ Thanks, I found the settings. I was hoping it was something else though and that I was actually going to be able to get the quicker machining time.
