Machined a square for X/Y alignment

This is my somewhat silly solution for getting work pieces lined up on the X/Y axes. The obvious solution is to use holes for locating pins but I’m a little bit precious about my spoil board and didn’t want to start drilling holes in it right off the bat, so instead I located the center of each T track on the QCW and then cut a 23mm wide pocket on each one, which rabbeted just a little bit into the side of each spoil board section perfectly along the Y axis.

Then I cut a square out of MDF with a 23mm wide rib on the underside, so wherever I put it on the bed it’s locked into the axes
