Main menu options

Im sorry for my ignoran e pn what yo call this, but where can i find directions on how to use these menu option

s on the main Onefinity screen.

I’d call it the jog controls, you can use them to move the axis in a direction the specified distance selected below (0.005" 0.05" 0.5" 5"). Y+ will move the gantry towards the back, Y- will move the gantry towards the front, X- will move the spindle left, X+ will move the spindle to the right, Z+ will move the spindle up, Z- will move the spindle down.

The arrows move it diagonally, the target in the middle moves it to X,Y work zero, the Z0 moves the spindle to Z0

Hey Jim,

this is the Jog pane. The buttons on the display allow you to manually move the carriages of the machine (not possible in program mode). The speed with which the carriages are moved can be chosen with the four speed buttons that are called “0.005 in”, “0.05 in”, “0.5 in” and “5 in” in imperial mode and “0.1”, “1.0”, “10”, and “100” mm in metric mode.
