Sheesh that’s absolutely bonkers! I’m in the US so don’t see the Canada Amazon listing. Is it in stock ready to ship? Sometimes sellers on Amazon with low or no stock will jack the price so no one will order it. That way they’re still shown in searches and don’t get hidden by Amazon and then put the price back down when they get new stock.
If your other source has .250" ones you should get that size. Other sizes will work but then you have to remember to change the probe pop-up box.

I know I dropped a lot in speed but the bit seemed quite happy with the speed nice and smooth so I can wait a few extra min
I have watched hundreds of videos but it is amazing the little things a guy can pick up here

And the carve ain’t bad, either. 
It is good the hear it did work out and, I can testify there is much this forum offers in the way of help and ideas for me too.
That is a nice pix of the white stuff but a more “tropical” view will be good to see in the future (hopefully soon too).
