Thought Iād share something I tried on my 1F. This took a lot of fine tuning. Nothing went through to the other side of the brass except for the outer cut.
This is on .015 brass sheet. I took the sea turtle, bent his front legs up and placed him into a reverse cut in the oak. Then poured blue tinted epoxy over him that also has white pearl in it. Made a nice coaster.
