Another tooling project for work, crossmember profile gages. They’re not real impressive looking because I didn’t bother to polish the faces, but the accuracy is dead-on. These are 7075 aluminum, which cut really nice. [IMG_0699] [IMG_0696]

A plaque for my Granddaughters room. She loves Alligators. Go figure. 3 hr carve, design work was planet art for the Capitol A, melia was done in Sketchup and exported as a 3d model. Aspire11.5 for the Cam work. Jenny bits for the cutting. [20231223_094708~2]

That was with a jtech 4.2w diode laser I had leftover from my xcarve from back in the day. It wouldn’t do great on some cups/colors and engrave all the way through the powdercoating and you have to go very slow. I moved onto a CO2 laser and moved the rotary attachment to it.
