I won’t be getting my machine until the week after Christmas but my base plate was delivered this week. I used the dxf file Bill sent me to locate the mounting holes. The rectangular slot in the center is for cutting dovetails. The large holes around the rectangle are for mounting the vice shown on the left side of the picture. The rest of the holes are for mounting MDF or t-track. The slot in the front and obround cutout on the left are for managing the wires. It was water jetted out of 5/8 thick aluminum plate that had been ground flat. Big thanks to my friend who cut it out and tapped all the holes for me. I’ll post another picture after the machine is installed.
