Can I hook the computer up to the controller and not use the monitor?

You can connect to the controller over the web interface.

After the Buildbotics Controller is attached to a local area network, it can be accessed across the network by entering the hostname concatenated with .local (“hostname.local”) or the IP address of the Buildbotics Controller into the address bar on any standard browser.

The default hostname is “bbctrl”. So, new controllers can be accessed by putting “bbctrl.local” in the address bar of the browser. Some computers may not support the hostname.local address and require that the IP address be entered into the address bar.

Mine is accessible as “http://onefinity.local” - I use the wifi connection all the time.

Also - as mentioned above, VCarve trial will not export a file you can use on the Onefinity - you have to buy it before you can save a g-code file.

Did you use the post processor to export gcode? Or are you trying to load the vcarve file?

What Craig said - you can only use the V-carve trial version for their sample projects. You can use the software to design new projects but you can not save the tool paths. You can only save the tool paths from V-Carve’s sample projects.

I bought the Vcarv pro, and can download the files now. Sorry bout the delay getting back to y’all. Been learning and messing around to learn the program better now. I appreciate all the feedback everyone has given.
