Spindle Warm Up Program?

This is good to know. Could be a good use of a dedicated button just to send the spindle stop code in such situations.

I just posted the warm up program I created for my spindle.
I posted it to another thread a moment ago to help others find it easily in the future.

Yes, running a warm-up program for your spindle is a good practice, even for 1F spindle upgrades. It helps maintain the spindle’s life by gradually bringing it up to operating temperature and ensuring proper lubrication before full-load operations. This is especially important if your shop environment is unheated or experiences temperature fluctuations. You can usually find sample warm-up routines in your spindle’s manual or online, and they typically involve running the spindle at increasing RPMs for a set amount of time.

Thanks for sharing mike! I’m still fairly new so bear with me, after I set my G58 offset will that make my cnc go to those coordinates when I start any file or just this warm up code? Im currently running it right now, and that got me thinking with what I’ll have to do when I go to cut my next project. Thanks for your file and time!:oncoming_fist:t3:

The spindle wiĺl go to the warmup position only for this program. Other programs will not go there.
