24 W laser fan squeal (solved)

Just got the new 24 W JTech laser for my Journeyman. Got it installed and running, but right from the start the fans are giving off a high pitched squeal.
Has anyone else had this happen, or is this normal ?

I did try searching the forum, but didn’t find anything.

It’s normal, But Jtech has just released a gasket (you can 3d print or buy) to quiet them down. Email jtech support.

Thank you ! I’ll look into it, although the squeal is an annoyingly good reminder that the laser is on.
