Advantech for Bench Topper

I am in the process of building a workbench top for my soon arriving X50 Journeyman. I’ve been trying to decide what materials to use for the top. Would Advantech sub flooring work for the bottome layer? It is very rigid and moisture resistant. I just happen to have a full sheet left over from when I built my house. It seems it would be a great choice, but I wanted to check with the experts :slightly_smiling_face: If that is good to use, would I then need to add some 3/4 plywood and then MDF for wasteboard?

Thanks!

I used the 1 1/8" thick version. I felt a better option than plywood. The stuff is solid as a rock but heavy. One 4x8 sheet was enough to make my table.
