Has anyone used this brand of VFD? It was a freebie, but i cannot figure out how to get the onefinity controller to control the speed to the vfd.

if your VFD is not in the pull-down menu list of supported VFDs on the TOOL page, you can at any time create a Custom Modbus VFD entry by selecting “Custom Modbus VFD - Users specify the register settings for their particular MODBUS VFD.”

In order to be able to do this, I hope your VFD has a good manual. Usually there should be a “Modbus” chapter that lists and explains all Modbus commands. Unfortunately every VFD brand has its own Modbus commands.
