Can I use the Onefinity Rotary with the Onefinity CNC Apprentice?
The Apprentice was designed as an entry level CNC router that would be affordable to the most users. It is compact in size which allows it to fit on a commonly sized deskop. Due to this size limitation, the rotary will not fit physically below the gantry and between the rails.
The Apprentice does use the same Redline Motion controller that the Elite Gen 2 series uses, so it is capable in it’s software and it’s hardware. Size is the limiting factor.
We are open to making a smaller, less capable rotary for the Apprentice if the community desires one. Request it in the ‘Feature Request’ section of our forum if it’s something you’d like to see.
