Having an issue during a carve where the carving is shifted in by a little over a 0.25" from the roughing pass after doing a tool change.
Note: After doing the tool change, I re-zero the x, y, & z axis. Going from a 1/4" Jenny to a 1/32" Amana TBN.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Just re zero Z on tool change. The machine will remember your x and y from the previous operation, assuming you use the same zero point for both tool paths.

You should never use a tapered ball nose to zero X/Y. That work only with straight bits.
I would expect that error after what you describe.
I never said I used a TBN but for the zero. Sorry for the confusion. I use the 0.25” Jenny to do the X & Y zero, then the TBN for the Z zero.
