I have simply ordered the transport myself, using UPS and they picked up the boxes in Canada. They did the customs clearance for me as well.
Thank you! I know people who will appreciate this information. Can you tell what you paid as shipping costs for what packages amount / weight?
As I posted in a different thread, please be careful about statements on the invoice, especially the COO (Country of origin). If it says COO USA, you must pay the customs fee (I think around 2.7% on top). If it says COO Canada, no customs applied, as there is CETA agreement between Canada and EU.
The Onefinity CNC machine we received was made in Canada (Onefinity stated that every machine is sent from there) and we paid just the local german VAT, due to CETA free trade agreement, plus a small amount for the clearance process that DHL Express took care of (I reported this here, here and here).
