Not too shabby! This is carved into a 2" block of black walnut that was 6.25x11. Roughing pass done with a .25 downcut, and finishing done with my skinny jenny. Total cut time was about 7 hrs. Rubbed in some Odies Oil and called it done.I was worried that the makita would not care for running that long, but the roughing pass made light work for the skinny jenny on the finishing pass.

Well that turned out really nice. I’ve never used the odies oil. looks like really brings out the grain.
