Fusion 360 - Setting sketch or Body up right

New guy here…trying to make these cabinet doors below from solid HDF stock. My question is around setting up the sketch or body correctly. Going to remove the recess area with a larger bit but I need to create a tool path for the corners using a 1/8" bit. Any experience out there in setting this up correctly?

I can’t figure out the best way to isolate just the corners for the 1/8" bit?

Appreciate any guidance!

Using “rest machining” found in the geometry tab. It’s a great way to clean up corners. No sketch needed.

Rest machining essentially means “remove the rest of the material the bigger cutter couldn’t get to”

@MikeXYZ thank you so much for the insight!

@MikeXYZ Thanks again for the heads on the Rest machining. I was able to get it to work but it didn’t get it completely right. I made a couple of 1 pc cabinet doors and a drawer front for someone, in each inside corner of the pocket it left just a little bit of material, you can see in the picture below.

I assume I have some setting I can adjust in fusion to fix this but at least I am on the right path. The previous bit was a 3/4" flat groove bit I used to clear out the main recess (pocket), looks like the 1/16" bit just didn’t get all the way to the edge?

 Figured it out…the tool path was running under the assumption it had a 1/8" bit in it. I forgot to change the tool in Fusion to 1/16. Lesson learned…

Thanks again @MikeXYZ
