Sharing these test results to help others avoid a bad experience.

Our maker lab purchased a HuanYang VFD and Zhong Hua spindle to power our OF Foreman. The combination only operated between 7,500 and 24,000 rpm and the measured rpm of the spindle did not closely track the speed settings commanded by the Masso.

The HuanYang VFD and Zhong Hua pair failed in dramatic fashion after less than 100 hours of use.

We purchased a PWNCNC VFD/Spindle kit as a replacement and now see the spindle operating over the entire speed range and the spindle rpm closely tracking the Masso speed settings.

Hey doubleplay643,

it is known that you can’t compare the quality of the cheap and unreliable Huanyang VFDs with the one that PwnCNC offers with the ingenious plug-and-play enclosure they invented. Also don’t forget the excellent support you get when you buy a PwnCNC product.
