I just applied V1.6.6, and wondering if this BB rotary supports Imperial measurements using Degrees or if I’m just not understanding something. The machine is set for Imperial units, I go into MDI mode and enter A360. The rotary spins and finally stops with the A position at 360 Inches. I thought A360 would do one complete revolution?. Next I return A back to 0, while still in MDI mode I enter G21 to set Metric. I then enter A360 and the rotary actually does complete 1 revolution, I then look at the A position and it has 14.173 Inches. Next I return A back to 0, while still in MDI mode I enter G20 to set Imperial. I then enter A14.173 and perfectly it actually does 1 complete revolution. So this is where I’m confused on how is this going to work when Vetric Vcarve generates Gcode using Degrees for the A commands? Do I need to write some kind of script to parse out the final G code to convert all A commands to Inches? At actual run time does the BB controller convert to Degrees?
The rotary for bb Buildbotics will only work in metric (only use the metric pp). It won’t display a degree symbol, but rather 360mm = one rotation
