Joy pad install on Mac gen 2?

Where does the joypad get connected on gen 2 without the monitor? I have a Mac hooked up to my cnc and can figure out where to plug in the joypad.

On a Mac, only the wired joypad works, and it plugs into a usb a port (if you Mac has one) on your mac

Thanks. If I need to replace the joy pad, can I use any Xbox controller?
