Wow… that’s reaching back a few years, I got another controller shortly after this post was made, although I am still using the G540. I don’t recall the specifics, but it was really quite straightforward. I used a DB25 connector shell (would highly recommend a screw terminal one if you don’t want to solder), and then ran the Step/Direction wires from that to the DDCS controller. If you haven’t already, then download the G540 manual from here: G540 4-Axis Digital Step Drive - Gecko Drive
and download the DDCS for whatever version you have. There is a Facebook support group for DDCS controllers, but I haven’t been active on there for a few years. That would be your best source for wiring help if you get stuck.
