I am considering purchasing an elite machine. I have a work shop and it not always heated. I live in maine , can the machine hold up in this environment .
Hi David - welcome to the forums. There are other people here that have their machines in unconditioned spaces and I have not heard of any issues. That said, there are max and min temperatures for all electronics – most commercial electronics are rated for 0-70c. So the winters might not be optimal for your machine in the great state of Maine. I would worry more about over heating than too cold. Though the mechanical parts might not like the cold too much.

I am in north carolina but we get some cold weatherr too in the winter i simply leave the controler on and i have not had any trouble this winter at all
