Use in unheated shop

Is there any concern with keeping the machine in an unheated workshop that can get down to 32 degrees in winter? I heat the shop up to 70 degrees on weekends when I’m working in there but the rest of the week it is unheated. Will this be an issue for any of the electronic components?

I am in the same situation here on the coast of NC i sometimes leave the controler on to keep it warm but so far i have had zero problems . I would only worry about heating it up and then having the warm air condense on the cooler surfaces afterwards but so far no problems have presented.

I am in an attached garage so it doesn’t quite get to freezing, but low to mid-forties isn’t unheard of. I’ve never experienced any issues at all.

Onefinity recommends to use the machine in temps over 40 degrees fahrenheit. I forgot the upper “limit” recommendation.

I am in the same boat here, I try to keep the shop above 32F when not in use and mid 50’s when I’m running the machines. I keep the machines covered when not in use to avoid any condensation with temperature swings.

tuvix was a great cook:)

Same situation here, unheated shop that I warm up with a wood stove when I get in to work. My machine is in an enclosure so I just leave a 90 W incandescent bulb on inside and that does the trick. I think the biggest problem would be from large temperature swings causing expansion and contraction as well as condensation, none of these any good for electronics or the screen on your touchscreen. But really, I think it’s just a matter of excessive caution. Most people here in the same situation seem to be reporting no problems at all.
