Masso and power outages

Can Masso controller pickup where it left off after a power outage.

Yes, it’s called skip to line

It will know where it stopped. I usually move it back a few lines on skip to line just to make sure all is good. Works for very long carves too I’ve had some run for 3 days and each night I would shut unit down and start up in the morning.

Good news thanks guys, I am still waiting for my elite upgrade. I’m in the middle of some inlay pockets and stopped for a couple of days because of the wind and power flickers here.

I use an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to prevent momentary flickers and allows for graceful shutdown (Onefinity Woodworker, classic)

Thanks for the advice, that is what makes these forums great!

I ran a large IT department for 20+ years and I am aware of the need for clean power, and several other factors, for critical systems. I do use a small UPS on my 3D Printer because I have run jobs lasting more than a day on it, and I have another small UPS on my Mac Mini because it doesn’t have a battery. But, I am a hobby shop not a production shop and I my CNC doesn’t run all day every day. I don’t plan on buying an ATC so my jobs don’t go more than a few hours.

And, I had a dedicated 220v line sitting right where the CNC is so I went with a 220v Spindle from PwnCNC. So the spindle and CNC will be on different voltages, I would have to factor that in as well.

I don’t think my little shop needs any of the expense that comes with these needs.

Thanks again for the responses.
