Thank you both for the kind words, it was a fun project, and I am happy it caught the interest of other users.
Since that early success I have nor pursued adding this functionality to my CNC, partly because I wanted to move to an oscillating tangential knife but did not have a ‘good’ reason to justify the cost of buying an Ecocam knife.
The research I had done at the time led me to believe Autodesk/Fusion would not be putting resources into adding this functionality, and I didn’t then have the time to learn was was needed to modify any PPs.
I still plan to add one in the future but have other projects ahead of it. It remains a future challenge to get it all to work with Masso and what ever CAD/CAM I find, but it will be worth it for the experience gained, as well as the resulting added functionality.
