New Controller Model?

I noticed on the Two Moose comparison video that their machine came with a new controller design. How does the controller with an LCD screen compare to the one I received with my pre-order unit last fall? Just curious why an LCD screen was necessary or how it may be beneficial.

Old, it’s the beta controller.

The LCD comes with the Buildbotics controller (or used to).
