I got a used X-50 purchased March 2022 with the buildbotics controller and 8” touchscreen. I thought I would be able to buy a stationary touch prove to go with it and mount it to my wasteboard so when I change bits the machine will re zero z for me… Is this possible with the old buildbotics controller or do I need a maso or redline upgrade for this. Also I can plug in a generic webcam and monitor it through the wifi? Also can I see the amount of hours the machine has been ran?
The older machine you have with buildbotics cannot do a tool change with a tool setter or atc.
Could I code in a Gcode to send to the probe to a fixed saved location and send it with the macros in the new upgrade? Of course I will still seek a way to do it lol
