I have an X50 Woodworker with the Buildbotics controller and the probe is not working all of a sudden (it’s been working fine for years). I reseated the connector at the back of the controller, rebooted the machine several times, and disassembled and reassembled both ends of the probe-side connection (magnet and pushpin). While disassembled, I also just touched the wires together and I get no indication on the main screen that the probe is working. I also checked the I/O page and did the test to see if the Pin 22 icon turns green when I touch the wires together (it does not turn green). It almost seems like something inside the controller has failed. Is there something else I can try?
Do you happen to have meter that you can ring out the wires?

Chances are this isn’t your issue, but I thought I had that problem as well. It turned out that I had a tiny piece of tape (from holding parts down) on the tip of my ball nose cutter.
