Parts for the Makita RT0701C router

A couple links for spare parts:

I ordered these spare brushes, and verified fit & function on my router.

Here’s another link for spare parts. I ordered a couple spare brush retainer caps just to have onhand.

@Machinist I know this is an old thread but i ordered the replacement brushes and changes the old ones. Old ones were clearly worn compared to the look of the new ones. After I replaced them, the router still sparks internally and makes a clicking noise. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your time.

No idea on that Tyler. Maybe let the new brushed wear in and seat themselves, and see if it improves. Otherwise, I’m at a loss as to why it would be doing that.

I’m no longer using a router, so my experience is limited with them. I gave up on them after returning 2 Makita routers because of running extremely hot. Then tried a Bauer from Harbor Freight. It was slightly better than the Makita, but still too hot for my liking.
